My Desk is the new section of my site. It's not a complex and abstract idea: it's simply my desk.
It's place where I can share what I'm working on.
Projects (both for university and not), Wallpapers or simple Quotes. It's still an experiment (and maybe a sort of "personal Dribbble", for a not-professional-whatever: i.e. ME).
Advertising done well.
This remix is quite old, but it's still one of my favourites.
Everybody knows what Pantone is:
The company is best known for its Pantone Matching System (PMS), a proprietary color space used in a variety of industries, primarily printing, though sometimes in the manufacture of colored paint, fabric, and plastics
Well, surfing the web I've discovered this super-cool project named Humanæ.
Humanæ is a chromatic inventory, a project that reflects on the colors beyond the borders of our codes by referencing the PANTONE® color scheme.
The project development is based on a series of portraits whose background is dyed with the exact Pantone® tone extracted from a sample of 11x11 pixels of the portrayed´s face. The project’s objective is to record and catalog all possible human skin tones.
It's an amazing and very interesting idea. Take a look at their site here. This project is great and underlines a particular aspect of our being that many times is generalized into "black-skin" or "white-skin": we're all different in this world (in a positive sense).
