Everybody have tons of things to do, everyday, and many times it's hard to remember all the to-do's.
This is a kind of problem that I've tried to solve with many iPhone Apps. On the AppStore there're lots of Apps for your daily to-do's, but many of them are too complicated to use, or simply don't fit your real needs with lots of alarms ringing every hour of the day. Many Apps have wonderful features and intelligent algorithms that try to organize better your time and other useful action, but it wasn't what I was searching. I needed a simple App, an App that could help me with a clear list of to-do's.
Many months ago, I've discovered Clear. Simple, elegant, and extremely intuitive. Clear it's a simple to-do's list. You can organize your lists, and edit or add to-do's with simple gestures and intuivive actions. It's briliant
and it hasn't notifications. Yes. I was a little bit afraid about this missing-feature, because I used to set lots of alarm to remember the things I have to do, but using Clear I've understood that all these alarms were only distractions. I changed the way I look at my to-do's. I try to remember the things that I've to do personally and what I need it's only a support, not a noisy reminder that rings everyhour. This is a better way to remind things, in my opinion, because it helps you to exercise and think about what you've to do. An app cannot sostitute your brain.
Clear it's available on the AppStore for only 2.99€ (universal App, redesigned for iOS7), and there's also a version for your Mac on the MacAppStore at 8.99€; it syncs using iCloud, so you can have your to-do's lists on both your devices.
Download it, you won't regret.
[Update] Notifications are now available in the last update. Even if I'm not a huge fan of notifications-for-everything, I think this is a nice and useful update. Nowadays, I'm using Clear to remember my shopping list or to remember particular items I've borrowed: for my to-do's I've switched to Fantastical. I thing that Fantastical it's more useful as to-do's app and it's perfectly integrated with my calendar (both on Mac and iPhone). However, Clear is still present on my iPhone home and in my Mac dock, it remains one of my favorite apps.
