Last week I found myself talking with a friend about religion.
In my life, for many reasons, I’ve had many occasion to talk about this topic with friends… however, some how, the discussion of last week was completely different.
For the first time, I found myself talking with a friend that doesn’t follow my same religion and this particular thing changes everything.
For the first time in my life I’ve found a man in front of me who doesn’t repeat the same things I’m used to hear, the same phrases that every discussions with others friends of mine always contain. This is maybe the first time in my life that I’ve experimented, met, touched, a religion different from mine.
Definitely I’m not going to change my religion but I think that this discussion has been really precious for me. It’s not necessary to discriminate people that have a different religion from ours (except those that aim guns to force us), and sometimes a clear and constructive confrontation opens up new horizons.
